Therapeutic Approaches
We combine a range of proven therapeutic approaches to ensure your child gets the best possible support. Our therapy services are adaptable to meet the needs of children of all backgrounds, whether they are neurodivergent or neurotypical.
-
CBT teaches children practical strategies to manage thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It’s highly effective for anxiety, depression, and ADHD, offering tools to handle tough emotions and build positive coping mechanisms.
-
Focused on the parent-child bond, CPP helps children and families process emotions, work through challenges, and heal from trauma. It strengthens communication and equips families with tools for emotional growth.
-
PCIT enhances the parent-child relationship by improving communication and teaching effective discipline strategies. This approach is valuable for addressing behavioral challenges and building stronger family dynamics.
-
This play-based approach supports emotional and social growth through relationship-building activities. It’s especially effective for children on the autism spectrum but benefits any child who needs help improving communication, emotional connections, or social interactions. A Collaborative Approach
We believe the best outcomes happen when everyone works together. That’s why we partner closely with you, your child’s school, and other key people in their life—such as their doctor, therapists, or specialists—to fully understand your child’s needs. By creating a unified plan, we ensure your child feels supported and empowered in every aspect of their life.
Flexible Options for all Families
We provide therapy for children from birth through age 16, both in-person at our Menlo Park office and online for added flexibility. Our goal is to create a safe, engaging space where your child can grow and flourish, no matter their age or background.
