Meet Dr. Sanchez

Dr. Sanchez is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in autism and neurodevelopmental assessments for young children. With a strong commitment to a child-centered approach, she collaborates closely with families and schools to develop tailored strategies that best support each child's unique needs. Her goal is to make the evaluation process comprehensive, therapeutic, and collaborative.

A Bay Area native, Dr. Sanchez cherished high school at Castilleja and has chosen Palo Alto as her home base. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Santa Clara University. Dr. Sanchez then completed her Doctor of Psychology degree at the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University. Her doctoral training took place at UCSF and Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), followed by a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at CHLA focusing on autism, neurodevelopmental, and neuropsychological evaluation.

Before establishing her private practice, Dr. Sanchez served as the Director of Clinical Training at the Multidisciplinary Assessment Center (MDAC) at UCSF San Francisco General Hospital. She is deeply passionate about working with young children, guiding them to unlock their full potential.

In her free time, Dr. Sanchez enjoys reading, knitting, baking, and spending quality time with her corgi and husband. She looks forward to embarking on this journey with your family and getting to know your little one.
